SENDCo 3 is part of a planned suite of training to support the induction and development of those recently appointed. Participants usually complete one half days SENDCo Induction which runs each term and then undertake this further training, one day session each term SENDCo 1 (Autumn), SENDCo 2 (Spring) and SENDCo 3 (Summer). These modules do not have to be completed in any particular order.

This module focuses specifically on meeting the specific challenges presented by the sometimes competing agendas and concerns of everyone involved in providing quality support and provision for children with SEND.

Intended to provide the "nuts and bolts", some participants continue later to undertake the more theoretical framework of the National SENCo Award.

This course is based on current Lancashire policies and good practice, is delivered by Lancashire LA Advisers and guest speakers
