Schools which have bought into the Service Level Agreement will receive this course for free as part of their package but will be charged £25 for non-attendance. Schools which have not bought in to the SLA will be charged the full course fee.
This course, aimed at Secondary School Governors, provides an introduction to the school curriculum and the Governing Board’s responsibilities.
• To develop an understanding of the forces which shape the secondary curriculum both within and beyond the individual school
• To understand the ways in which the secondary curriculum is implemented and delivered by schools
• To build an awareness of the responsibilities of governors with respect to the curriculum
• To consider ways in which the secondary curriculum within a school may be evaluated and reviewed
This course is for Governors only. Non Governors will be charged the full course fee.
Cancellation fees will apply for non-attendance or if a course place is cancelled by the delegate within eight working days of the course date.
