Course Objectives

Schools which have bought into the Service Level Agreement will receive this course for free as part of their package but will be charged £25 for non-attendance. Schools which have not bought in to the SLA will be charged the full course fee.

This course provides an introduction to the primary school curriculum and the Governing Board’s responsibilities.

• The primary school National Curriculum
• Implications from the 2019 Ofsted inspection framework
• The Governing Board's duties and responsibilities in respect of the curriculum
• Ways in which governors can contribute to the monitoring and evaluation the of their curriculum

This course is for primary phase governors only, unless stated.
